Silkscreen Printmaking with Hand-cut Stencils CANCELLED due to Covid-19

Print bold contrasting designs on paper or cloth. Artist Simone Ishinabe will guide you through the process of using positive and negative space to adapt drawings and/or text designs to create stencils to print.

Using cutting blades to remove shapes and lines and heat set fabric inks, create impressive and powerful prints to hang on the wall, print on clothing or give away as a gift – just in time for the holiday season. 

This workshop is suitable for all levels of artistic ability but is not suitable for young children.

All materials provided. If you wish to bring material or clothing in addition to the paper that will be provided, you are welcome to do so.

This event will only run if Hamilton is at Alert Level 1.

As soon as Hamilton moves to Alert Level 1, we will open bookings for this workshop.
