Enter into the inner world of Joan Fear and celebrate with  Waikato Museum one of the Waikato's great and prolific artists.

The exhibition Fearless, looks at the various subjects Joan has painted since the 1950s when she began her painting career. Being born in Raglan, and growing up in the Waikato afforded Joan with the indigenous flora, fauna, landscapes, and seascapes that would sustain her imagination to this day.

Joan Fear is a Waikato painter for the world and we have the privilege to meet with her here in this exhibition. All that she paints expose parts of the fabric of her intellect.  Fearless celebrates the art of Joan Fear, a woman of substance.
