Florian Heinke (b. 1981, Frankfurt)
A beer to spill them into dust
Multi media installation

The work of Florian Heinke is as complex as it is simple.
Using the idea of messages to the masses, propagandist media such as poster ideas, Heinke politicises not only the images he makes, but his very name.
Rather than working in the third person as many artists do, he is often one of the central figures in his own imagery, not as an act of vanity, but an act of protest. He is not interested in mincing words and pulling punches, he means everything he says in his works. In the current global political climate of general uprising of the 99% ers, we can immediately identify him and his message in the midst of the throng.
Heinke is represented by Galerie Anita Beckers, Frankfurt and his works are in numerous public and private collections in Europe.
