I Dream of Monsters

Monsters come to life! With Dave Devries artwork as inspiration, we invite years 1- 4 classes in Term 1, 2012, to send in monster drawings from their imaginations to be a part of our I Dream of Monsters programme.
Local high school and community artists will then select a piece of artwork and flesh out the student's monster in a newly realised creation. The final act will be an exhibition in the Uzone Gallery with both artworks displayed alongside each other.
For this Uzone exhibition, places are limited and will be chosen from the first artworks we receive – however, EVERY artwork received before 27 March, 2012 will be displayed online to inspire our online arts community to create an artwork based on a student’s monster. A selection of these artworks may also have the opportunity to be displayed in a further exhibition.
Entries into the programme must be received by 27 March, 2012.
To enter your students’ artwork into I Dream of Monsters please send A4-sized art works. Please note: Submission of entries implies permission to display the work online (first names only will be used):
