The Treaty
He Iwi Tahi TaAtou. Together, we are one people

This  programme delves into the challenging issues around the coming together of two peoples both within the Waikato and New Zealand.
Using our exhibitions, the Treaty of Waitangi and specially created resources from Te Papa, we encourage students to explore central issues that contributed to the seeming necessity of Ti Titiri O Waitangi and to examine the fundamental controversies of our country’s history.
