Charges for entry to both Exscite Science galleries:
From 1 August 2011 the entry prices to Exscite Interactives and Mighty River Waikato gallery increased slightly in accordance with approved and published Hamilton City Council fees and charges.
The new prices are:
- Child $5.30 (children three years and under are free)
- Adult $6.40
- Family pass (two adults and up to four children) $21
- Adult concession* $5.30
- Concession applies to students, Waikato Museum Friends, senior citizens and Community Services Card Holders – ID will be required
The museum has a “Repeat Visit Card” which you can get stamped three times and your fourth visit is free!
Collect your card from the reception host.
FAQ
1. Can I pay to see just one exhibition?
At this time we are not offering each exhibition separately. The price package is the same as the existing charges for the Mighty River Waikato exhibition and similar to the former pricing structure for Exscite. However, we are now offering the opportunity to experience both exhibitions for the same price. This represents outstanding value.
2. My sons are five and seven, will there be anything suitable for them in the Mighty River Waikato exhibition?
Yes! The Mighty River Waikato: from Hinaki to Hydropwer has something to offer all ages and the whole family.
3. Where do I buy tickets from?
Tickets are purchased from the museum foyer at the information desk. One of our hosts will be happy to assist if you have any further questions.
