Information for Teachers
The Museum educational sessions are linked to the curriculum and are informative, challenging and fun.
It's a whole education package. When you have booked your visit, you will be sent relevant and useful Teachers' notes, consisting of lead-in activities and ideas for preparing for your visit to the Waikato Museum, relevant background information, follow-up ideas and assessment activities.

The Museum class times are 9.30am, 11am or 11.30am and 1pm; other times by arrangement.
Costs
The cost per student for an educational programme with one of our experienced education team is $5 per student and $8 for a double programme. A double programme involves two separate exhibition programmes involving more than one educator and typically is more than 1 ½ hours. A triple programme is $10.
