Volunteers
Volunteers are an important source of support for the Waikato Museum, and are a great way to get the Community involved within the Museum.
Volunteering within the Waikato Museum can be a valuable way to get work experience within a Museum environment. The volunteers we use have generally been involved in helping us with special projects to do with the collections.
If you are interested in becoming a Volunteer at the Waikato Museum, please send us your up to date curriculum vitae.

Monica is a volunteer with us at the Waikato Museum, currently working in the collections. She is interested in research work and has a BA in History, & Screen and Media Studies from the University of Waikato. She has done meticulous work cataloguing and storing away the archival records of the Chartwell Collection from the days when Hamilton had the collection in the city. Her next project will focus on building catalogue records for our Social History photography collection. |
