How to Make a Monster: The Art and Technology of Animatronics
‘How to Make a Monster’ opens in Hamilton at the Waikato Museum on 25 February 2012. Be among the first in New Zealand to see this extraordinary exhibition that gives you a behind the scenes look at how monsters are brought to life through the art and technology of animatronics.
T-SHIRT DESIGN COMPETITION
KIDS – Put your drawing skills to the test and design your own monster! The winning monster design will be digitally transformed into a professional cartoon character, and printed on t-shirts to be displayed at the Hamilton Central Library and sold at the Waikato Museum.

- Draw your monster in the t-shirt outline.
- Fill out the entry form.
- Hand your completed entry in at the Waikato Museum front desk
